Prerequisites
PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor or Assistant Instructor who has completed the PADI Emergency First Response Course.

Course oveview
This course follows after the PADI Instructor Examination. It allows the new instructors (and previously certified ones) to teach the PADI Emergency First Response Course.

Value
The EFR course is a requirement for the Rescue Course. For an instructor to be able to teach all parts of these courses the EFR Instructor Course is essential. Being able to teach this course is also a valuable tool for marketing to non-divers.
